Impact of Growth Period Against Acehnese

The younger generation is the forerunner of the nation. The future of the nation is in the hands of youth. Mindset and behavior of the younger generation reflects the fate of the nation in the foreseeable future. But along with the age of the all-powerful, including a change in attitude and style promiscuity among young people in Aceh, they increasingly do not understand the language of their ancestors; Acehnese language.


In fact, many Acehnese are now embarrassed to teach their children to speak the language of Aceh, too embarrassed to speak Indonesian Acehnese dialect. This is in sharp contrast with what happens to people in other areas. Look at how the people of Java, Padang, and Batak, talking. They remain proud of their language and culture, respectively.

While the Acehnese people, especially young people lost their identity as a people of Aceh. This condition has occurred in a very long time. So that will likely continue in the future to increasingly diminish their identity as the people of Aceh.

Acehnese language is the language actually adopted from some other country language. In addition to English Aceh, Aceh also some tribes have different mother tongues like Jamee language is similar to the Minang language, and also the Gayo language. But most people still use English Aceh Aceh in everyday life.

Problems began terlupakannya our local language, emerged from several factors, such as the mass media, the internet, or various social networks that have been so easily accessed by young people of Aceh. Mingling today dominated by Indonesian and even some of them have started to use a foreign language in daily life.  

This may lead to more prestige in the association . The teens who could use the Indonesian market or slang usually feel proud , especially if they are able to converse in a foreign language . Of course compliments from friends and pride will be elevating the prestige , and make them forget their local language .Indeed Indonesian remains a unifying language and foreign language is also very necessary in today's era of globalization . Moreover, if the purpose of a foreign language is to pursue the ideals to overseas . But back to the issue forward progress Aceh , Aceh language became one of the true identity of the people of Aceh .Another major factor is the influence of family factors . So we find a lot of parents in Aceh who prefer to speak with her ​​since childhood in the Indonesian language , arguing that when an adult child could someday talk with Indonesian is good and right .When in fact without dipelajaripun Indonesian is the language that is frequently used in learning at school and reading books . Indonesian is not a complicated language to learn . However , Acehnese language is more complicated because of the diversity of dialects studied in many different areas .Increasingly waning Acehnese in Aceh the environment can not be separated from the interference of the expanding globalization . We as actors keep track of the flow can not blame globalization , because it is the nature of the world will experience the longer it will progress more rapidly in accordance with his age of the world , and human resources will continue to be prepared to be able to compete with the wishes of the times .Of more concern is the increasing number of people in Aceh Aceh but could not speak . For the present time , the use of language of Aceh are still complete and can we get the original only in the rural areas . In the provincial capital also , use the Aceh language increasingly rare for us to hear , even in the young people of Aceh arises a mockery " old-fashioned " if there are young people who use the language of "slang " them with the language of Aceh .If you look at the increasing number of young people in Aceh who speak the language put " child Gedongan " the appreciation of the Acehnese language less and less pronounced.However , there is still a workable solution to the threat of fading Acehnese language , which raises awareness of each of us personally . Strong awareness and pride based by young people to continue to use the language of Aceh in the association or other social interactions .
